Field Trip!

We will go to the Campbell Creek Science Center on the Friday.  We need a few chaperones.  Please let me know if you can join us Friday, March 21 from 9-1:30. We will take a bus and eat lunch there.  I will send out the permission slip on Tuesday- please return it with $2.00 ASAP.  Thanks!

Pumpkins and Things!

I am looking for pumpkin donations this week.  Size doesn't matter.  I would like to do a science and math activity with the students on Thursday.

 

Students will be allowed to wear costumes at school on Thursday.  Students should not wear the costumes to school.  Please keep scary masks at home. 

We will have a 30 min party at the end of the day on Thursday.  I have a list of things you can bring below.

A-D:  Something Crunchy

E-J:  Something Sweet

K-M:  Something Vegie

R-V:  Something to drink

Field Trip Change

The field trip to the Hatchery has been rescheduled. 

The new date of our field trip is Monday, October 7, 2013. 

The trip is being rescheduled because currently there are no salmon eggs.

Seeds and Plants

This week students studied the difference between dry and wet beans.  We also planted Brassica seeds, these are fast growing plants.  We will be able to see plants soon!

First Week of School
